Important Dates to Remember – Deadlines
- Last day to register is October 15.
- Last day to request a ballot by mail is October 25.
- Election Day is November 5.
- Same day registration on Election Day must be done at your correct precinct

- Don’t wait until Election Day, vote now! Remind your friends, family, neighbors, and particularly travelers and college students.
- If you prefer to vote in-person on Election Day, make a plan now and put it on your calendar.
- By-Mail Early Voting: Friday, October 25, at 5:00 PM is the deadline to request a by-mail absentee ballot. You still have time! Return the completed ballot envelope to a convenient drop box at an early voting location during the hours of operation or mail it via USPS. Sign your ballot form and include your birth year and last four digits of your social security number. USPS Mail times are expected to be longer than usual, so order your ballot now!
- In-Person Early Voting: The most convenient place to vote early in-person is the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Pkwy, Room 251, Fairfax, 22035
- Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Saturdays (Oct. 19, Oct. 26, Nov. 2): 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Sunday (Oct. 27): 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Please volunteer for a time slot to help us staff our table at this polling location- https://tinyurl.com/mskyjuxj. We need all hands on deck to hand out sample ballots and greet voters! It’s easy and fun!
